Stealthy Warhound Titan Princeps

Hey folks - thought I'd share this model - Back in the glory days of ebay, I scored a bunch of tyranid odds and ends, and to my surprise, found an old Armorcast Malefactor, minus arms, in it. I always liked the malefactor, and have never liked the shooty Carnifexes (to me, tyranids are all about the stabby claws - Ok, maybe hive tyrants and warriors are smart enough to use and care for a bio gun, but a Carnfifex?) So I've converted it into some kind of bile launching and spore mine launching tyranid beast The holes where the arms went were covered by the infestation Markers from the Battle for Macraig set, and the mouth is from the same set, with sculpty tendrils and scything tallons from something or other (metal). I figure it spits out the mouth.

My original tyranid scheme was black and yellow, but I've been wanting to make them a bit more realistic, so I brushed him dark green over the black, and tried getting some brown in there. Its still WIP at this point, but I feel like it has too many colors on it now, and I thought I'd see if anyone had any ideas on how to make it a bit more natural looking. There was a thread on that topic a few days ago that I found inspiring.... I like the red feeder tendrils on my other models, but they seem really garish on this one.... (plus it starts to look alot like christmas...)
