I actualy field a sqaud of stealth suits most of the time. They are great anti-infantry troops that are pretty much immune to long range (beyond 30") fire. Artillery fire... bah.. even IF template fire can see you, it scatters a extra die. Any fool who comes too close to the stealth suits, 2 markerlight drones for a BS 5 burst cannon spam Works wonders against orks and nids i tell ya ;p

And i recommend a battleforce. Really good set of troops imo. Lots of types, compaired to the really plain ones (SMs and SW's come to mind). Just note you DO lack heavy support choices with your idea of 2 battleforces and a single XV8 (in which heavy support is the tau's strong point in the whole army).
