I love Kroot. Want to play Cavalry Wolves but don't feel I can wait for the official models. Don't want to convert other similar sized wolves for Cavalry.
Discuss.

I'd use juggernauts of Khorne with some conversion work t the heads to make them look wolf-like...
In fact someone should make a "robo wolf" head that fits on the juggies...

So your making a Wolfs army using all kroot cav? If so BLOODY FANTASTIC had the same idea myself when the book came out. Go for it!
OR
Are you wanting to remove the riders from the Knarlocs and put space wolves on them? If so then it should be a good fit in terms of scale. The only issue would be removing the Kroot legs from the Knarlocs body. Can be a little messy. But the overall effect should be Very nice if you can pull it off

Wish they made plastic Juggernauts. Then my chapter master could go bull riding.

The first. My only real issue holding me back right now is money. Three Knarloc Riders from Forge World are ~£40, and including HQ and Elite choices, I need 16 of them in total. The list would also include two screens of Fenrisian Wolves. You can imagine what kind of model I want to use for them and how they aren't cheap either.

GW makes wolf models. Both chaos wolves which you would need to cut spikes and things off of and just plain wolf mounts meant for orcs & goblins but as far as i know you can order just the wolf from gw's list of fantasy mounts.

They're not big enough. Personally I cannot play with miniatures that look stupid or not to my taste. For example; I currently play a Mech SM list, but all of my models and vehicles are built as Space Wolves, because they look alot better than Codex Marines, imo.
This thread was more of a "what do you think of this idea" rather than "convince me otherwise".
