So I'm looking at close to 60 minis last night that all need to be primed before I can start painting them. Problem was that it was almost 10PM, and I was completely out of primer (not to mention that I REALLY do not want to drop $16 on a can from GW or order and wait for one from The Warstore!). This is where the experimentation factor hits. I see no reason to go through the 'didn't works' so I'll cut right to the 'WORKED LIKE A CHARM!' part.

One bottle of Reaper black and added a 50/50 mix of distilled water and %99 rubbing alcohol to it. I think the final mis came in at 2 parts paint to 1 part thinning mix. Ran it through a Paasche VL-3 at about 30lbs of pressure. My results were excellent. None of the detail was obscured and I even attempted to rub some of it off this morning, to no avail! Bottom line on this is that instead of paying $16 per can and using 2 of them, it cost me about $3!
