I have started to collect a new army of ORKZ from scratch cuz of all the new stuff that got released for ORKZ.

I need help deciding something but first keep in mind that im more of a converter and painter rather than a player( i like my army not to be monotonous and each model to look very cool and different for the other one ) hence im going for boxes that give me loads of spare parts so i can even make my normal boyz look cool and different.

im planing on making the army to have diff units not big on zerg thats is 30 boyz cuz soon people will know that with template weapon we die like anything + hate painiting so many models .....

I got the deff copter and the Wboss from the new starter box + got my self a battle force + nobz box and big mek
so here is my army that ive collected so far :
( every nob has power klaw tho i will model some with DH weapon again cuz to make em look pleasing to the eye)

* 1 WB + 5 Nobz + mad Dok + trukk

* 15 ard boyz(including nob) + big mek

* 3 Nobz on bike (count as troops cuz of WB)

* 3 deff kopters

* 11 shoota boyz (including nob)

i have not assembled these models cuz i wnat to get my last batch of stuff b4 i start assembling so i have a bigger range of parts wot im panning to get now is :

* Deff dread (ill convert this from scratch cuz the GW model is very expensive and i dont relay like it ){will count as troop cuz of big mek}

*battle wagon (gotta get this the model ROCK )

* either a box of 5storm boyz or box of 4Burna boyz + mek with burna (can only buy one box of any of them im running out of money )

thank you for ur patience you have to understand all of the above was important to explain in order to present my question:

Q1: should i get storm boyz and use battle wagon and use Bwagon as stationary firing base with kanon and 4 Bshootaz or get burna boyz+ mek and load em inside the Bwagon
Q2 : which box gives me more bitz?
Q3 : is deff rolla a must on Battle wagon? + is the claw must on battle wagon ? cuz i want to use that as claw in making the deff dread

wot should i do? or should i completely drop the last option and go for something else ?
i want my army to me fast and very hard hitting. i dont want to add more bikes or kotptas cuz i want a new type of unit on table once im done with all of this ill start making the current units fatter as ill grow the army. PLZ HELP ME PLZ.

Please use proper grammar, punctuation, and capitalization in your posts. It really helps us read your posts.

You should focus on buffing out your squads. 11 shoota boyz is nothing. Having a solid mob of 30 makes for a really tough unit that can do a lot of damage.

Battlewagons are best used to transport big squads around, whether this is a 20 man mob of Orks or Nobz with an attached warboss. A deffrolla is not a must, but is a really fun option.

Gear your army towards mobility. Orks can get a lot of movement in, so you should focus on that. Even a unit of Orks on foot can be complimented by boyz in trukks or battlewagons.

Nob box and stormboy box both have lots of bits, e.g. twice as many heads as you need, etc - burna/loota box and boys box have less.

Wagon is a solid choice but you really want more than one or it'll get pounded.

Stormboyz are okay but five (or even ten) is really not a big enough unit.

thanks for the reply uve been a great help ..... im sad to hear that burna loota box have less stuff in it .... so 5 or 10 storm boyz are no good
so is 5 burna boyz a better choice?

yes i will get another wagon as soon as im done buying the current list. planing to have atleast 2 wagons in future.

i will keep in mind to make my army as mobile as possible(very good advise ) planing to have atleast 2 battle wagons and 1 trukk would that be good enough?

The main problem with low number of orks is that if you run a troop based army you can either go gretchin spam (viva la revolution!) or large mobs of boys (IE 20 boys per mob), ESPECIALLY with shoota boys since they have such poor BS they need large numbers to cause decent damage.

If you want low numbers try a dread spam (9 killa kans, 2 big meks, two dreads and a small unit of cybork choppa boys perhaps with two units of 15 boy strong loota squads for backup power) or a nob list (two warbosses, 5 mobs of nobs either on bikes or in a battlewagon and a unit or two of 20 strong choppa or shoota boys to bulk out the army and reach the minimum troop selection.

Oh and put all choppa boys in a trukk and all non biker/mega armoured nobs in a wagon.

5 of anything isn't a great choice in an ork army - remember that with a 6+ save anyone can whittle them down quick and they've got rubbish leadership when there's less eight of them. Two casualties (and you're highly unlikely to have any saves) and they're probably running.

10 is a minimum for Orks, you should be aiming for max size for squads on foot or full transport for mounted squads.

The burna/loota box is great value but it doesn't have much in the way of bitz - the storm boy box is really nice and has lots of optional bits.

BTW, the nobz box is packed with bitz and the nobz in there are much better than the one you get in the boyz box. Get a nob box or two anduse those nobz in your boyz mobz - I regret not doing so and might have to go back and replace those later.
