I got this a while back. Its a starship troopers 3 power armor, Rico's to be precise. Its about 5 terminators tall. Anyway I painted it black, and then I lost interest in what I planned to use it as..

What should I model it as? Counts as what? Its got a gattling cannon, machine gun and two grenade launcher things on its head.

If it's that tall it would make a sweet titan!

I used to have one of those when I first started to get into the hobby, and I thought it looked a lot like the Titans.

Titan seems like a good idea. If it's for loyalists add a Aquilla or two and the Ad Mech symbol somewhere easily seen and it's done

Its a bit hot where I am, I don't remember what I was trying to say. Something like a real machine gun which makes no sense either. 8P

Knight titan eh? Unfortunately that means it would probably never see the table as I have never played apoc and likely never will.

Originally I was going to use it as a punisher with heavy bolter etc.. cause of the cannon, but I dont collect IG.

Also where would I find rules for a knight titan?

The official rules will be in either one of the Apocalypse books or in one of the Imperial Armour books from Forgeworld. I don't know what one that class of titan is in though.

Knight Titan rules are in the Lords of Battle pdf, located here.

I think it looks more Tau-esque than Imperial. If it's Titan sized, how about doing a Tau super heavy walker. They are often conceptualized, but rarely executed.

It may have the '04' marking of Rico's suit, but Rico's suit (in the film) has two arms like the left one (machinecannon/heavy flamer combo) and doesn't have the gattling cannon. (I've watched that scene quite a few times)

There are no 'official' Knight Titan rules for 40k as there were never any official models for 40k.
Only early Adeptus Titanicus had rules for them. Anyway, the Bols Lords of Battle book has rules for the epic scaled knight titans in 40k.

I'd treat the gattling cannon as a Punisher cannon (as is) (right arm, Primary weapon) give it a Hellstorm flamer/twin heavy bolter (left arm) and two Blast autocannons (Heavy 2, blast) (shoulders). Armour 12, 2 structure points, NO void shields. Somewhere around 350-400 pts. Yes, it is a crapload of firepower, but that's what apoc is all about.

Not quite correct, chromedog. Adeptus Titanicus may have been introduced, but they were present in the boz set for Titan Legions (effectively 1/2 of Epic 2nd Ed) as well, and rules were in development for an Adeptus Mechanicus Titan Legions army list for Epic: Armageddon which was going to feature them.

I stand corrected.
I never actually played epic in any form (AT, TL, E:A, etc) - I just had some of the models.

I bought that Starship Troopers Collector DVD set with the Marauder suit thinking that it would make a perfect Titan, too !!

To this day is sits on my shelf, as menacing and bright green as it was the day I took it out of the package...

Runnin up on ya.

It'd make a much better Tau titan. Super burst-cannon or something for the left hand and super duper CIB for the right. Do some work with plasticard on the two shoulder thingies and you've got some giant railguns.

Damn, now I'm going to have to buy one of those and do it myself.

EDIT:
$75?!?!?!?! Nevermind.

Six mistakes mankind keeps making century after century: Believing that personal gain is made by crushing others; Worrying about things that cannot be changed or corrected; Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it; Refusing to set aside trivial preferences; Neglecting development and refinement of the mind; Attempting to compel others to believe and live as we do

Well the problem with that would be, dreds are easy enough to blow to smitherines. Making it that tall would only help your opponent

Automatically Appended Next Post:
MAybe you should make some rules for it, and discuss with your gaming group about using it as a special type of huge ass dred or a small titan or some such
