This year may end with nids ( previews in dec ) and the next starts with them ( codex and minis ) but theres still
some marines around. 
The Legion of the Damned returns in january. ( WD ).

i think the WD in his post indicates the source (white dwarf). perhaps he got his hands on an early copy. december's WD should have a quick blurb about the next month and maybe it shows a pic of LoD.

I doubt it. LoD mini's have been shown before from time to time as greens and they've been on the release list for some time now.

No pics.
New GW policy seems to be "come to our stores and have a look there", which I believe will work if there are no pics
to be scanned.
Not sure what a blurb of a publication ( in a foreign to many dakkites language ) should help here.
The events page just gives the impression we'll see any new releases 2 weeks before "live" in GW'stores.
For nids its only a few weeks ahead in december.
Anyone knows why Nids come early (2nd january) but are not at pre-order in our lovely advertisement?
