This kit is cast from molten win. Just loved painting it, it's full of drama and just gorgeous.

Hope you like my interpretation - I think I could have added a bit more color variation to the wood, and this was painted to a "tabletop deluxe" standard - basically to be centerpiece of my gaming army.

Very nicely done. I also enjoyed putting mine together...the new skaven plastics are some of the best models I have ever worked with.

Perhaps a little Virdigris on the metal ? just to break it up from the wood ? The example in WD would help alot I think, or you can go with an orange rust instead.

Thanks! Yeah I used bit of verdigris on the bronze areas but it's too subtle, can't even see it

I think for the Plague Furnace, which I'm about to start, I will go with a much more decrepit look and really rust it up.

Under the couch

Lovely work on an absolutely nuts model. I'm loving the direction GW have gone with the Skaven, and it bodes well for future plastics.


I quite like the darker green shading on the 'energy' bits. Unusual, but rather striking.
