So just as the title state s My brother just picked up space hulk for me as a gift. Now before he begins (yes I am letting him paint them. I must say I had to swollow my pride and admit that he kicks my butt when it comes to painting) He would like some tips and tricks from fellow painters who have painted these beautifull guys.

Why on earth would I ever want to do that? The main reason I got Space Hulk was for the BA terminators...

Here :

- Prime white
- Use that red foundation paint as base (mech-something red)
- Paint over that with scab red
- Highlight all the model with blood red
- Highlight the higher areas with blazing orange

There you have the armour .. the eyes , guns , tyranid bits and all the rest are up the other painters . Also note that this is very basic . For quick , easy blending read this

I would prime automotive red primer (if you can find a good fine one)

There was a Space Hulk showoff thread with a bunch of great examples. A bit of advice, too, if memory serves. Most people primed and painted from there, but I seem to recall at least one person who did some amazing terminators by highlighting directly from the base color of the plastic. Might want to look through that thread. Plenty of inspiration, if not direct advice.
