So, here's yet another new user ready to roam the forums. Hello to all ^^

What is there to say... I've lurked the forums quite a bit in the past few days, but had to gather up some courage before actually registering and introducing myself. That is because it's not been a long time since I finally picked up the hobby and wanted to see what I could do for myself before coming here to bug you with my nonsense =P

So, I'm just a random college student and a serious anime addict who has always been interested in the Warhammer universe ever since I can remember. I tried to start a Warhammer Fantasy army when I was 12 but just couldn't handle it for various reasons (but mostly just being too much of a kid). I'm now starting to collect a Tau army and am striving to get nice looking models-I won't be satisfied until I get close to perfection, and that's still a long way to go I fear. That's one of the reasons I decided to join DakkaDakka- to bug people like you so I can get more hints and clues of what I can do next to improve my painting!
Since I just spilled out my motives, I'll just get to the point and ask a pretty noobish question- the place where I have to open up a thread aimed to ask for suggestions is the "Painting and Modeling" section, right? Could I do it in the P&M Blogs section if I started using that thread as a place where I put up all of my works, even though still pretty much of an eyesore?

Well... I guess that's it. I shouldn't be too much of a brag right from the beginning, right? =P

Nope i would say just the P and M section for questions not the blog. But to update all the dakkaites on your progress you could start a blog. BTW welcome to dak dak¡¡¿¿¡¡¿¿

@kird if the ghosts: are you talking about Now and Then, Here and There? That show's pretty famous and is highly acclaimed as a masterpiece by many, actually. I couldn't stand its pace though; dropped it after a while. But was pretty interesting nevertheless. A good pick I must say =] since you liked this one you might want to check out stuff like Kino's Journey and the Grave of the Fireflies (the last one's a movie). Another title you could like that comes to mind would be Gunslinger Girl (try and stay away from the second series though!); the latter is one of the very first fansubs I downloaded and it's pretty good actually.
