Well anyone? I would love to see that. Maybe some tie in with half life. That game was surprisingly good. We also need a half-life 2 episode 3.
Here is hoping that Valve Decides to make those Next projects after left for dead.

Forever alone

Portal seemed to me like a little something to keep us going while Valve worked on Left 4 Dead. I don't think it needs a sequel, but I'd like to see some DLC.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

Portal 2

Swift stated that future Portal developments will depend on the community's reactions, saying, "We're still playing it by ear at this point, figuring out if we want to do multi-player next, or Portal 2, or release map packs." On January 31, 2008, Lombardi confirmed that "more Portal" would be forthcoming, and promised that the additional content would not just be "more puzzles"; an interview with Kim Swift on February 21, 2008 revealed that a full sequel, Portal 2, will be coming. Swift also stated that the team creating the Portal sequel is currently deciding upon the design they should implement and that a multiplayer Portal "from a technology standpoint is possible", though Swift had previously stated they tried a Portal multiplayer variant, but admitted that "it's less fun than you'd think."

On June 10, 2008, Kotaku reported that Valve was seeking voice actors for the character role of Aperture Science CEO Cave Johnson and suggested that the second game may be a prequel to the events in Portal. However, a later update suggests it could be a sequel, with Johnson as another AI.

I doubt Portal 2 could live up to the first game and as for Episode 3.. is it still coming or can we expect Half-Life 3 in five years?

YO DAKKA DAKKA!

I'm not sure what they meant by multiplayer Portal... I mean multiplayer puzzles would be pretty boring, but Portal Deathmatch...

I do hope that they hint at coop puzzles. Coop is fun. Deathmatch is lame.

WHO DOESN'T WANT A PORTAL SEQUEL???

Seriously, I loved Portal and I hope they do more with it. Technology evolved over the last few years. I'm sure they can make a new game that doesn't take place in a compact underground complex but more larger levels.

Also, it has been established that Aperture is part of the Half-Life Universe. If they ever get around to making Episode 3 there'll definetly be some sort of crossover.

Now that L4D2 is out of the way and TF2 getting updates all the time, Valves next game just HAS to be either the next HL/Portal installement or an entirely new thing, which I'm sure we'll all love just as much.

With any luck the next Half-Life will get banned in Australia. Then I will start a riot.
