who else does steel legion?
i have 2 squads, 3 LRBT's, a chimera, a shadowsword, a sentinel, a basilisk, a CC, 3 HW lascannon teams, and the fortress of arrogance.

been working on one for years, but never have the energy to finish it. 1 command squad, 3 HW squads, 3 vet squads, lemun russ, basalisk (but not enclosed yet) and 2 sentinals.

SL is not Forge World!

I have 6 chimeras, one squad, an officer, 2nd ed Yarrick, 2 basalisks, a griffon (open-topped though =() a hellhound, a vanqisher, 2 demolishers, a punisher, the Fortress of Arrogance a stormlord (It's a transport, right?) and used to have two more squads, and about 9 hvy weapons teams, but they got sold, and I have gone on to a simalerly painted mech army with Cadians and Vallhalans.

I was thinking of starting an army of them a while ago, but I ended up selling what I had (two squads and a command squad) to a friend. If they came out with plastics I'd get them in a heartbeat though.

Oops. Strangly enogh I was resently eyeing up some steel legion. Not for playing, but they would be perfect for some orky terrain, perfect as corpses!

They're not forgeworld but they are at the $1 per point level if you buy them new.

You could use Pig Iron heads on Cadians though for some passable squads.

p.s: my basilisk is open-topped, but instead of using the cadians you get, i used the guys from the steel legion lascannon team, converting the gunner to be driiling, making battlefield repairs, and having the loader crouching, looking out.

I would like to but I wont because its approx £10 more than a normal imperial guard box of troops

I've stopped doing them now, and I'm currently starting a DKoK army (I dunno what it is with me and guardsmen with gas masks)
