Hello, I am just getting back into the hobby (haven't played since 3rd ed.) and was dismayed to find that they had discontinued the Blood Angels Red Spray Paint, since my entire Saim-Hann army used it. I was wondering if anyone out there who remembers it has any tips on how to duplicate the color? I have looked at my local hobby shop to see if they have anything that matches, but had no luck. If anyone can help me out (even if its just telling me what paints/ratios to blend for brush-on paints) I would really appreciate it.
Thanks

Got an Airbrush?

If not, you could try the Army Painter Red Spray can... it's a nice red, though I can't say exactly how similar it may be to the GW version.

No, unfortunately, I do not have an airbrush. What is the Army Painter Red Spray Can? Is that a brand of spray paint, and if so where can I get it?

ArmyPainter is a company that sells modelling supplies. They are best known for their QuickShade products, but they also distribute a line of coloured sprays, tools and modelling flocks. I have used the Pure Red spray to undercoat Space Hulk Terminators, Bloodletters and Squigs and I can recommend it.

A range of ArmyPainter products can be found from many miniature-related online stores, The WarStore and Maelstrom Games to name but a few.

That place is the harsh dark future far left with only war left.
