Just managed to get a Deluxe box this weekend, okay I admit it I was after the loot card. Which ironically was missing from the box, but after reading the rules and trying the game I have to say I was very impressed with the mechanics.

I love the timing system, where using powers advance you a certain number along the timer track, and you can't act again until the timer catches up with your new position.
Very clever and a great way to balance over the top abilities.

Prepaints are okay, and the deluxe edition comes with lovely hardboard versions of the maps, so it came in a boardgame sized box.

So I'm wondering has anyone else tried the game, and what did they think of it?

I used to play pre-paints with Heroclixs which used to be a entertaining little ditty back in the day.

Was intrigued by Mechwarrior as well this well im not to hot on it id rather spend my money on D and D nicer Minis.
