Could acrylic paints be used to paint the warhammer 40k metal figures?
GW paints are in limited supply here, and by that i mean there are none. otherwise is there any difference between using the GW paints or normal acrylic paints?

And swallows the star-fire

We hide amongst the night

The Light is within us

We run the ruin of Fire
In the darkness

Foes burn in our passing "

Acrylic paints can be used to paint metal figures, but rember to prime it beforehand
and GW paints are generally better than most other acrylic paints, but acrylic paint quality varies from brand to brand.
(Testors and Tamiya are very good paints to use.)

I really like GW paints. If you can't find them, try looking for Vallejo. Those are available at a lot of hobby shops.

They have a lot less pigment then GW paints but if you use lots of thin layers you should be good.

Just for the record, GW paints, Vallejo, Reaper, P3 are all acrylic paints. They just tend to have finer ground pigments (or liquid in some cases.)
