Hi all,
There's a consequence for immobilising fast vehicles after they move flat out, right? I can't seem to find it in the damn rules! One of those can't-remember-where-I-read-it scenarios... Can anyone help me out?
Thanks guys.

That is for Skimmers, page 70, iirc.

Page 71 under Shooting At Skimmers
A skimmer that...has moved flat out in its last movement phase counts as obscured (4+ save)....On the other hand...a skimmer that is immobilized immediately crashes and is destroyed if it moved flat out in its last turn.
Skipped over some of the fluff talk, but thats the rule there.

Ahh, ok, only skimmers then? No additional effect for non-skimming fast vehicles?

Page 71. Axyl got it. The only other issue is for transports - no models get to disembark if the fast transport moves that fast -- really only an issue when you combine these.

Well, if you have a fast transport that decides to ram something then your passengers could be in trouble since they cant disembark if required to so do. Likely to happen? No.....but something to keep in mind since the unlikely tends to happen far too often in 40k, heh. Hmmm, orc trucks with a reinforced ram (if your local interpretation of the rules has shock = ram), not sure if anything else could qualify for this weird situation of being fast and not a skimmer transport. Maybe BA rhinos, dont have their rules on hand atm.

Why does my eldar army run three fire prisms? Because the rules wont let me use four in (regular 40k). |
