This is an objective marker I made for a friend of mine who plays chaos marines. It's a Christmas Present. I suppose he could also use it for a standard bearer in our local games.

The crossed out Ultramarines Shoulder Pad was taken from a Sergeant as a trophy. Or something. Anyway, I thought it was funny, and would be a chaosy thing to do!

That's pretty awesome maybe you could do more with the base instead of it just being the one rock. You could have smaller pieces of rubble laying around.

It looks like steps actually which is more theatrical imo... Running towards the top... getting shot down... must survive... RAAAAWR...

Sorry for spazzing

O.o my apolies... just realized I didnt finish my post haha! Anyways... I actualyl agree you need something around the Rocks and or Steps... which ever it may be... It looks good as is dont get me wrong, just the base needs more, especially as an objective!

EDIT: DONT CHANGE THE STEPS THOUGH!!!! Just some rubble or floors around it is all!

I think instead of rubble, making the steps cover the whole base would look better. I mean like, cutting a circular section so the whole surface is covered. Also, i'd paint the base itself the same shade of grey as the steps.

Yeah. I see what you mean, now. I should have put some rubble around the steps.

I used extra blocks from a couple of my Hirst Arts molds for the steps.

Oh, well. I've wrapped it up to be given tonight, so it's too late to do anything with it.

That is simply awesome. The lines look very clean and the pose is perfect. Well done sir!

I don't recognize the paint scheme however, is it from your friend's custom warband?

He actually hasn't painted any of this troops, as he just started playing Chaos (made the transfer from Necrons). He has painted a rhino and started on a defiler, so I took a crazy guess. If he doesn't like that paint scheme, that's fine. I can either touch it up, or he can just keep it as is for an objective marker.

As to where it came from, no idea.
