Okay so I playing my first game against Daemons and everything was fun and great until my Battlewagon was assualt by a Herald of Tzeetch...So here is my question....

The Herald of Tzeetch on Chairot is pulled by 2 Screamers of Tzeetch, do the Screamers get to attack as well as the Herald?? Also does this make a retinue where the screamers count as wounds for the Herald?

First game against daemons so I had no idea how these work in 40k....Any help appreciated.

No, follow the statline given for the chariot - no mention is made of the screamers so you dont get them.

The whole model has one combined statline - no IC status and therefore no retinue either.

I concur with nosferatu1001, the statement that the chariot is pulled by two screamers is merely a fluff or modeling statement for 40k.

In WHFB chariots are horrible complicated devices with impact hits and all sorts of special mechanics involving the beasts pulling the chariot, but in 40k those chariots just change the herald's stats and switch some special rules around.

Agreeing with both of the above.

Ok, I have a question about the chariot myself. I'm starting daemons for 40k and I was wondering is there any specific size these things are supposed to be? Are they supposed to go on a base or are they not supposed to have a base at all?(like a vehicle)

They should probably have a base. I use 2 screamers puling a disc all on flying bases on the square chariot base from WHFB.

Violence isn't the answer, I just like getting it wrong on purpose.

The chariot base of 50x100mm is probably best, as this is the base size used in fantasy.

South Africa

2" x 4" Base is ideal

or 50mm X 100mm

measure range in inches and base size by mm...

Thanks for the help. I thought that base might be what they went on, but it seemed kinda weird to have to use a square base in a circle base game.

Daemons have been using square bases in a round based game for half the time that 40k has been in existence. It's not strange, it's tradition.
