I have an idea for an army color scheme and have a movie in my head to base my scheme off of. The uniform was gray(grey) or tan and the armor that partially covered it was black. I can't for the life of me think of what sci-fi movie I saw it in. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Can you give some more details? Was a helmet involved? Was it shiny black armor or matt? How much armor was there?

Shiny armor for sure. Helmet involved too.

Space Balls!!! That's not it, but certainly close. The uniforms are too light in color.

Grey or black doesn't sound radically distinctive.

What about pink uniform and lime green armour?

I remember the peacekeepers from Farscape as having troops with black shiny armour and helms.

I'd almost say it was from Space: Above and Beyond. Or potentially the Pegasus crew from the recent Battlestar Galactica, as they were shown a few times wearing khaki BDUs opposed to Galactica's black/olive drab.

Starship Troopers looks to be the closest to what I was looking for. I still can't place where the heck I remember the uniforms I was thinking of. I guess I'm just going to do some test figs until I find something that makes me happy.
