Falcon: missile launcher, holofields, spirit stones (180)
Fire prism: stones(125)
total:2495
Basically my focus with this is a mobile fire base of the 2 shooty DA with a farseer in the unit backed by the banshees in falcons. The scorpions infiltrate in mid field to near the enemy so that they can be up front with the fire base playing clean up. The third DA squad stays back for objectives wit one of the pathfinder squads and the fire prism. The other two ranger squads will infiltrate about a quarter upfield from my table edge, picking off targets within range. The vyper just wanders around shooting whatever i need a heavier shot at.
Keep in mind this is geared towards fighting Dark eldar, which this will be my first time doing. I know they have the cheesy darklance stuff, which turn out to be better than brightlances, which is dumb. Well, any advice would be nice. Wish me luck.

I don't think the vyper is a good choice. It's pretty costly and with BS 3 it wouldn't really do a lot since you only hit about half the time.
Drop acrobatics of the banshees it doesn't really help since the banshees will be the one's charging probably.
Maybe take serpents instead of falcon's and get another prism.
Most importantly, where are you're dragons. At this high point cost you can bet your enemy will have at least AV 12 and most likely AV14 if there are any marine players, which there usually are. I personally run two squads of six at 2500

Thank you for the input but it would probably have benefitted you to actually read the rest of it besides the list. I will be facing dark eldar with it. All open topped and all low armour value so I don't need melta. As for the acrobatics, that is true but if I do get charged I have more attacks. as for the vyper, it was throw away points and fast attack was the only slot I had. It's the only lance in the army. I was thinking of downgrading it a little though to put fortune on the farseers.

Will you be fighting only dark eldar? I personally try to make list that can fight anything so I wouldn't have to spend more money on models I'll only use sometimes. Automatically Appended Next Post: For example I wouldn't make a list with two falcons if I know that I generally don't use them cause I don't want to spend the extra bred. I prefer buying models that can always help me and for that an all purpose list is better, and for that purpose that was my advice

I understand what you are saying, but I don't have the models to make an end all I will beat everything eldar list. I haven't gotten to the point playing them that I will be able too make that list. This list was more for swarm and low toughness/ high save armies like eldar, orks, and nids. (though not as much with monstrous creature nids)
It was fun and I actually upped the points to 3000, dropped the vyper, and added two small warlock councils on bikes, and some lances for the game.

Well against those types of armies your list ain't half bad.
If you ever want an all purpose list take a look at mine, I think it's pretty solid.

Not sure if your trying to scrounge for upgrades to make you point cost, but wayyyyyy too many unnecessary upgrades in the list.
Runes of Witnessing - pointless upgrade, boost the chance to roll double ones while giving a minor statistical gain on passing the Ldr test.
Banshees - Warshout - Most everything is Ldr 10 so not a great chance of it going off.
Acrobatic - If you aren't the one making the charge that means your already out of the Falcon. If your already out of the falcon then I hope you opponent would have the common sense to light them up at range before charging, at which point +1 attack isn't going to save them.
Vyper - You have a long range AT weapon and a short range tough unit killer, go with one fighting style or the other.
DA serpents - I'm assuming your doing a blade storm maneuver here, star engines on this unit is overcosted. Eldar will be heading for you just as much as your heading for them, the 12" toward them isn't going to be useful. A 12" jump after dropping your guys off will leave them in the open to be killed. The 12" jump to contest/control an objective is going to matched by the speed and skimmer spam of DE (if played right).
DA - 10 DA with SS and defend is a waste of points. This unit's job is to stay back and not get eaten, in which case it shouldn't see the light of day to even be assaulted. If it does get assaulted it will still get eaten by the DE CC choices. Take 5 DA no upgrades and use the points elsewhere.
Falcons - You have 2 long range weapons, but you plan to drive it up into CC range for the banshees... kinda conflicting there.
Fire Prism - A single fire prism is a recipe for fail.
Now some things to think about.
Falcons - Split the DA squad in the 3rd serpent and put 5 in each Falcon. You now have a 2 scoring units that you can keep safely at range.
Serpent - Take 10 of those banshees and put them in the serpent. It can freely charge up the field withoutworry of being shaken.

No Fire Dragons? How are you going to pop tanks besides with the Falcons?
Banshees would be better in one unit of 10, you will cut down points on the second exarch then. The larger unit can take more wounds, though tbh I don't rate banshees. There is plenty of ap4 weaponary around, and even if they make it into cover there is cover denying weapons which tend to have ap4 too. I think scorpions are a better choice and a scorpion claw would be a good choice. I know the claw only gives S6, but at least you can whack tanks, walkers, tough infantry and monstrous creatures as well as forcing units to use their invulnerable saves if they have them.
I don't think star engines will help you much, besides grabbing objectives at the last minute. Skimmers can move 24" and get a cover save anyway. I also don't rate bladestorm, ok you get double shots but next turn you cannot do anything. I'd rather be able to shoot all turns instead of missing one.
One lonely Vyper? I would drop it or give it support. If I remember they're armour 10 and open topped, something which never lasts long either way.
Serpents are better than Falcons btw for the Banshees. They won't get taken down so easily then.

2 tanks with 3 s8 per, vyper with s8, prism with s9, pathfinders with a possible AP1 pen, i think he is good there if this is going to be DE only.

Well one Vyper isn't going to last a huge amount of time is it? With the amount of darklances D.E have those 4 anti tank vehicles will go down quickly.

Vypers in general don't last long unless you play them very well lol. yes 4 anti-tank can go down very fast so he would have to play his side well. If the DE player is a skimmer heavy setup (which IMO is the only viable DE setup) this list doesn't stand a chance. At 2500 pts DE can field a pile of nasty skimmers, while this list is mainly gear for anti-infantry not anti-tank.
