Ok so I have a two part question about everyone's favourite Ogryn. First does the squad benefit from his stubborn? My thinking here is no because the BRB says that independent characters bestow it upon the squad they join but Nork is not an IC. If I am wrong there feel free to correct me. That line of thought however leads to wonder why he has it. And the situation I come up with is if the squad has modifiers that drop their leadership below 8 they can then use Nork's leadership because it is now the highest (and immune to modifiers) So is that a valid use of Nork's stubborn?

-Any terrain containing Sly Marbo is dangerous terrain.
-Sly Marbo once played an objective mission just to see what it was like to not meet every victory condition on his own.
-Sly Marbo bought a third edition rulebook just to play meat grinder as the attacker.
-Marbo doesn't need an Eldar farseer as an ally; his enemies are already doomed
-Sly Marbo was originally armed with a power weapon, but he dropped it while assaulting a space marine command squad just so his enemies could feel pain
-Sly Marbo still attacks the front armor value in assault, for pity's sake.

Umm I'm not 100% on the rules of IC's and rules, but as far as I know, he wouldn't give Stubborn to the squad.

He would not confer stubborn onto the unit, but yes if there was modifiers he's leadership would then become the highest and thus used. This is the only real reason for for his stubborn.

The idea of a Regimental Command Squad following the lead of an Ogryn is just hilarious . "Oi! Don´t worry boss! Nork knows wut to do! We go dat way!"

But seriously, Nork is just one those units that looks cool on paper but fail abysmally on the table. Hideously expensive for starters. Sure he has Stubborn and T5 but sadly you´ll never benefit from them. What good is one member with T5 when wounding is done according to majority?
