As we all know the GT isnt for a while but i thought i would prepare for it and do the smart thing, i was looking for help and advice on what would be a good combination for a Tau army in an attempt to kick some serious ut in the GT. I have few very rough ideas for what it may consist of e.g Firewarriors, battlesuits, Hammer Head etc. But i need a list or various lists ranging from 1000 points to 2000 points.

What i have at this present time is about 70 firewarrior, 40 of em are pulse rifles and and the rest are carbines, i have aroound 30 kroot including 5 hounds 1 shaper and to krootox riders. I have 2 Hammer heads with 2 railrifles and to ion cannons, a devil fish, aout 17 battlesuits, Farsight, a steath suit team of 3, 2 broadsides 1 ethereal, and unva and his 2 lovely honour gaurds.

I will be adding to this as other minitures may be needed in my list, if possible also post painting schemes in an idea on what my army could consist of, ill later post a colour scheme that i am working on once it is finished, but to my disadvantage i am heavily clour blind so when possible say what colours are on what parts on the minitures, without going into stupid detail.

I actually enjoy my paint scheme of Brown and Green. It makes them feel as though they are in the forest. As I've painted them I've refined the style a lot. I use a light blue for the markings. I have a couple pictures in my gallery but I can take some more when I get home. They come out partially blurry because they are with a camera phone but you can get the basic idea.
