Thinking of playing my orks for an up coming tournament and this is the list I came up with. I am figuring at this point level a large mass of boyz would be deadly. Any and all advice would be great.

Reading through the posts on here it would seem you may want to consider having a grot 'sheild' to stop your boyz getting shot to hell before the get into CC. I'm new to this edition but maybe drop the Lootas which are shooty (which orks generally suck at) and get Grots, does leave you open to Armour though. Just my thoughts.

Not sure what you have available to tinker, but you're contradicting yourself a little in this list. Lootas sit and fire, the rest of the army runs screaming forward. Shootas want to shoot, the sluggas want to run during the shooting phase, so they will outrun the rest of the boyz.
Consider scrapping the lootas for a killa kan wall if you got one. Their grotzookas can do basically the same damage as the snazzgun and they can give your boyz a cover save. If that's the case, though, you'll want a big mek as a 2nd HQ choice with a KFF. Barring that, the grot flesh shield works too.
Split your deffkoptas up into 1-man units. Gives you more options and can allow you to tarpit three units potentially, buying your boyz another round.
Consider going all slugga if you're intent on footslogging. The objective will be to get as many boyz into CC as possible. If half your troops are not charging, you're essentially using half your army. The grots/kanz should keep them alive, the koptas will try to wipe out artillery, transports, or stuff like Devastators, but ultimately you're banking on your horde of boyz reaching the other army intact, so go all the way or don't go at all.
Orks need to be all shooty or all charge or all speed. A mix and it throws their synergy off and they fail to use their greatest asset: numbers.

Ork foot lists are fun, but they have no cover saves. A big mek with a KFF and units of killa kanz should be used to create a kan wall and use the KFF to give them a 4+ cover save, and the boyz get a 4+ cover save from the kanz.

Points value is a bit small for the 45 lootas build. What you've got so far is good. Lootas are an exception to the rule for orks, they carry autocannons that get D3 shots! They have two problems, lack of mobility and leadership. Find a nice spot of cover to sit them in and have them rain bullets on your opponent. The only thing they can't drop is a land raider which you probably won't see at this level.
Also, your warboss has frag grenades....and a power klaw, so he's going at I1 anyways, I would drop that upgrade and find another use for the 5 points.

They are standard issue, I use Army builder to get my list it shows all the options the unit has

Lootas are just a threat to draw fire from my boyz and pop transports. 2 squads at 1250 would be hard to do. I have 3 buzzsaws scout charging or out flanking at str 7 to assault tanks rear armour hoping thats enough till the boyz get the can openers into enemy lines

Lootas own, ya they only sit and shoot but they throw down some damn good cover fire. Im not a fan of Grots as shields... I use boyz as shields. This kinda lacks the tank popping power i normally like to have, ya your Nobs all have PCs but that still only brings them up to a strength of 8. I would also make sure to get that Warboss into a group of something, normally you can use the boyz and grots as shield but there is too much fire power out there that can drop a template or something on him and pop him like a zit.
I posted a 1000 point value with trucks and Megas in them with lootas laying down cover fire. with 2 groups of mega nobs i still had around 60 models on the board. On average when you play under 2000 points you will rarely see more then 20 to 30 models for anyone else, Except IG that will toss a single squad of 1000 at you. And maybe Nids,but most offtin you are going to see SM.
The Deffcoptas will do some havoc but only running 3 they wont do as much as you would hope. Im not sure what tournament yo will be playing in but i would assume at that point value 4x4 boards?
Lootas can almost reach every square inch of that playing field, and with this size of field you are probably going to be into the other palyers ranks by at least the second round, so those grots will have done almost nothing for you by the time you hit him. Even if they take one full round of fire there will more then likely be some left and they are only going to be in the way after the first round.

Lootas are a threat because they pop tanks, infantry and monstrous creatures, so they will be in the cross hairs. But its what they give back as mentioned above. They get things out of tanks so your boyz can bash them. They kill monstrous creatures which boyz will struggle with. They blow up walkers which boyz cannot do any damage against.
You only need one buzzsaw, not three and outflanking isn't something to relie on because you might not get the dice roll. Scout them is a good tactic though

Oh, hangon I have to look this up....
ARG! your right, warboss does come with stikkbombs (that always bugged me, warboss has stikkbombs, yet he has an awesome power fist. Big mek can get an I4 power weapon...while charging, but no option for grenades at all...)
I will seccond that you only need 1 buzzsaw, there are two deffkopta builds that I have seen work. Either 3 rokkit koptas who float at 24" popping off rokkits, or a full group of 5 with a single buzzsaw ( TL big shootas on all of them) this group is much closer in, and built to get behind tanks and shoot them, then assault them.
