Canada!

When they're far away, shoot 'em with your guns! Pew pew!

When they're close, shoot 'em with your axes! Chop chop!

Try to isolate them out of Synapse range and hit them with a force weapon or other instant-death-causing weapon or ability.

Psykers with force weapons are the bane of my carnifex's existence.

Aside from that, Twin-linked Lascannons, Autocannons, and any other high S weapons applied heavily from long range can be detrimental to any big nid critters.

Landraiders are a pretty good bet, as they would HAVE to close to CC range to be able to mount any sort of effective offense against it. Venom Cannons and Barbed Stranglers just don't punch through AV14 like they should. Add into the equation that LRs have lots of big guns, it is likely to be the best counter. Douse that bug at range with heavy firepower and you should see it go down.

The eye of terror.

If they're super-shooty carnifats, you charge them with a unit with a PF champion.

If the 'fex only has a 3+ save between random str 4 hits and the powerfist, he'll go down sooner or later, and your squad should be relatively unmolested.

If it's a super-cc carnifat, either shoot it, or move away from it.

It's not fleet, so use range and difficult terrain to your advantage.

Why did the berzerker cross the road?

berzerkers suck, they suck bad, I've underestimated them as bugs more than once and almost lost because of it.

Really though, stranding a carnifex outside synapse or mowing down his bug screen does the job. If they are shooty carni's they will take all game to kill a 10 man unit in CC, if they are CC carnies, you focus big guns on them until they go down. The trick is going to be to get the ranged carni's tied up in CC and not getting rocked by nearby genestealers and friends.

They are kinda pretty cheap for how tough they are but aren't really super dangerous. The flying tyrant and genestealers are the bruisers.

Bugs (until next codex in january) have problems with heavy armor, a few preds with the front end towards enemy, land raiders, ect. and it takes alot of luck to kill one as bugs outside of CC. Just need to keep moving, standing and shooting hard to do against bugs since they will be coming at you with flying tyrants, outflanking bugs, ect. ect.

You really shouldnt be having any trouble at all with tyranids. Its a really easy matchup, as chaos can shoot and assault pretty well.

In your squads, doing the chainsword tango

ML krak missiles work well on fexes and throw lots of wounds on smaller bugs

I think Guants just kill themselves when they charge into the Anvil that is anything in the CSM codex except Thousand Sons...which is kind of funny...

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.
