Degrading Statement: the X cannon is a little odd. I assume you are having it be an automated weapon like the Bastion weaponry. It would be better for it to have some basic weaponry instead.
Positive statement: Nice rules. I think a castle would make more sense as four towers with an AV of 14 all around and the walls would count as LOS terrain that confers a 3+ save vs attacks through the crellenations 4+ any other direction.
Putdown: The upgrade is definitely OP. Imagine how IG players would feel.
Uplifting Statement: The gate rules are good. The Ladders are okay.
Final interjection: your rules look good. with a few changes they could work great.

Anuvver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it.

Hah! My friend and I spent hours playing with that thing when we were youngins. You have inspired me to use my Jurassic Park command center toy!

-Any terrain containing Sly Marbo is dangerous terrain.
-Sly Marbo once played an objective mission just to see what it was like to not meet every victory condition on his own.
-Sly Marbo bought a third edition rulebook just to play meat grinder as the attacker.
-Marbo doesn't need an Eldar farseer as an ally; his enemies are already doomed
-Sly Marbo was originally armed with a power weapon, but he dropped it while assaulting a space marine command squad just so his enemies could feel pain
-Sly Marbo still attacks the front armor value in assault, for pity's sake. |
