I played 1st and 2nd ed of 40K. My landraiders are old edition. The side lasers could point a little inward. After a 10" -12" deadzone the lasers would meet. All lasers could fire on a single target. On the current version of the landraiders , is there a point where they will meet and be focused on 1 target.
The current rules state vehicles can only target 1 enemy group. The other shots are lost. The example of the Preditor in the BRB is not pointing directly at the target. The right laser is not facing the target, so a shot may not be taken.
Question: Do the lasers on a Landraider ever cross or can they be fired at a vehicle, if aimed directly at a rhino size? Landraider?

True line of sight, if you can see it from the weapon mount you can shoot it.

You can shoot as long as the gun's barrel can actually point at your target.
However, the new BRB describes the exact angles in which sponson mounted guns can fire. (The lascannons on each side of your Landraider count as sponson guns) These angle do not intersect in front of the vehicle in the book.
I would argue though that since your Landraider is the older model, and its guns actually can be angled inwards to intersect in front of the vehicle,
then they would be able to fire in the manner you said they could in the old BRB
Also, the Landraider in the new Space Marine codex has the Machine Spirit Special rule which allows you to fire at multiple targets in the same shooting phase (I belive it can shoot up to 2 targets)

No, I though in the BRB, they showed that they DID intersect...

The example picture to which you're referring is just that: an example. It's not a definition of the arc of fire for all sponsons. The actual rule says that the sponsons can fire in whatever arc in which they can be turned.
And, for what it's worth, the sponsons on the pictured predator do intersect.

As the rulebook does not define one exact point on the sponson you must use, you are able to pick any point you want. In most cases, this is the outermost one on the gun mount, giving you a point where the sponson lines intersect.
