Any ideas on how to do this without it looking completely stupid or unfeasable?
Another question... Do they make a right-handed lightning claw in plastic for regular power armor guys?

The Pegasus wings are a bit big for anything besides a special character. But, there are probably companies that make good sized wings anyway.

I dunno, doesn't really fit SM. CSM has winged jump packs (as there really is no difference, they both do the same things) but SM, no... I think that you would be shunned by many fluff enthusiasts.

I want to incoporate them into the jump pack but not as a mutation. More of an over-the-top add-on for my Shrike "counts as".

Use plasticard to make the wings of the Aquilla on the existing jump pack?

How about the Necromunda Spyrer wings, they look more high-tech and less organic. Might fit a space marine better.

I think you would be best off going with something mechanical. I would recommend against the Necromunda Yeld wings... I've seen that done, and they just don't look right for Marines.
I would second the Aquila wing idea. Build yourself a framework with thin square plastic tubing and overlay it with plasticard 'feathers'.

Only the Space Wolf one at the moment.

Thanks, got one. Filed off the wolfie diamond thing and now Mr. Counts As Shrike has a pair of lightning claws.
I've decided to go with Bret Pegasus wings since I have them and a chaos mutant backpack. I've cut off the claw arm things but can't attach the wings for want of a paper clip. I moved recently and have absolutely no idea where I put my supply. :( Gonna have to buy some tomorrow, I guess. Anyway, my current thinking is to attach the wings to the backpack and then carve up a jump pack so that the exhausts/intake will fit onto the mutant backpack. The result will be a single intake and the two exhausts will be smushed together. Currently it looks okay "in my mind". Have to wait till tomorrow to see how it looks on a model. You have no idea what a pain in the arse it is to work with jump pack bits that have been hacked/knawed apart.
Hopefully it won't look bad, at least.
