Here's a fairly simple rendition of a Cadian Basilisk.

I actually got to do a number of tanks in this color scheme (most of them had parts unassembled, so that my client could magnetize them and such).

love the shiney metal - is that just burnished paint or something special?

I would say it needs a bit of weathering though - it's just too new looking. Otherwise it's another great paint job!

Check out my gallery here
Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

That metal is extremely smooth.

Nice nob. How do you cover that much model with that much metal and not muck it up?

Nonsense! It hasn't seen battle yet!

At least, that's my approach to weathering Once it's in few battles, it gets some dust, scrapes, and rust stains

Beautiful tank. Very "Factory Fresh" looking

That looks awesome! I love the metal on the barrel. I would suggest making the tip look a little worn/burnt. Unless your look is straight out the factory army.

Very nice, I do agree that you should weather it more.

Actually, I was asked to paint this one factory fresh. I normally add in some battle damage, but this time my client wanted to do the battle damage himself.
