After being inspired by another thread, time to ask the question, which crime drama is your favorite and why?

Not seen any of those, if you'd included Dexter, I'd have voted for that one. Great series with a wry sense of humour to counter a sometimes repulsive storyline.

My girlfriend is a HUGE fan of both Law and order,SVU and CSI,so I end up watching (sort of) both of those shows alot.
While I can't say I'm a "fan" of either,I have found them to be entertaining from time to time.
Now,for me,nothing says heroic officer of the law like Bernard P Fife.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made. |

IIRC it was N.Y.P.D Blue that stared Denis Franz.

Are we pretending 'Bones' is a serious crime drama? Ok, I'm game...
Why on earth isn't The Wire on this list? Have you people taken leave of your senses?

I watch all those shows, but I like Criminal Minds best, because they really get into the minds of the sickos. And also I am hooked on watching to see if Thomas Gibson ever, even once blinks. So far, no. Plus, he BEAT THE REAPER TO DEATH WITH HIS FISTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've wanted to beat C Thomas Howell to death more than once (Sci-Fi Channel version of War of the Worlds, I and II...) so that was immensely satisfying in a vicarious way.

I dunno about that...
Most of the British actors I see, I can't understand 'em!
On that note, there are some great shows on BBCA. Not excited for the new season of Doctor Who with that emo lookalike Doctor though.
