Need some insperation here. I have ordered 5 Kans for my Kan wall and want to put grotzookas on them. Any ideas or fluff referances would be nice. I would rather not slap a piece of tubing with some paint on them if you know what I mean. Thanks all.

Edit: I spelled it wrong in my search. I found some nice images but they mostly look like big shoota on them.

I think it should look like a small missile version of a rokkit launcher, so I'd go for either:
- a grenade launcher look (which when you think about it, is effectively just a very large calibre revolver) like the IG grenade launcher but bigger
- or a gravity-fed magazine of small missiles feeding into a launcher tube (like the old 2nd Ed space marine missile launcher but upside down, if that makes any sense)
- or a mechanical hand pushing missiles into a sidebreech launcher tube (or into the back of the tube, which is more bazooka-like, but something about side loading is more visually appealing to me).

Of course, whatever you do, it will be a fancied-up plastic tube - but lots of rivets and other details should hide that

Hmm, having said that, I suppose another option would be a small array of launcher tubes each containing one missile, like real-world modern helicopter rockets.

Everywhere I'm not supposed to be.

Large tube with a grots head poking out the end? That's what flashed into mind when I read "Grotzooka".

If you need me, I'll be busy wiping the layers of dust off my dice.

I think we all envision that when we see the name, but sadly it does not shoot Grots. A pity...

The codex describes a grotzooka as "A gigantic blunderbuss that fires scrap from the mek's workshop floor" so i agree with the link .. Perfect

Perfect Thank you so much for that. Doubt very much that I have the skills to make that but it is a great idea.

I just cut off the barrels of the metal big shootas and glued battlewagon tail pipes to the front. It looks pretty decent to me (like a slapped together blunderbuss). If I get some time I'll charge my camera to show a picture.

Yeah the grotzooka from the link seems super awesome, and why can't you shove some grots in the cannon anyways? Who knows maybe some fell into the hopper.

This is good.... isn't it?

I'd thought about making Grotzookas using plastic tube and the spiked turbine Stormboy rokkit-pack noses.

It occurs to me that, if you wanted an actual grot-shooting grotzooka, you could use the Stormboy rokkit-pack grot noses!
