Subject: "pale" green?

Alright so another easy, short grundz painting question:
most of my bugs are catachen green.
I'm looking for some of my new bugs to be lighter so the details come out (and that i'm lazy and don't want to do a ton of coats on them) and then can be detailed/dipped/hardcoated, the other greens i have are very, very bright. I want a dull "pale" greenish skin similiar to the olive drab/catachen green but lighter, something closeish to this random GIS image: https://www.pendrypowdercoatings.com/shop/images/pale%20green.jpg
I've tried just watering down my catachen green, but it seems to turn bright and act like a wash which isn't what i want.
I've tried adding a little white, but it seems to brighten to the point where it's no longer greenish, I played back and forth with green and white for a while and eventually got a close, but utterly unreproducible ( lol) color.
I was hoping someone has tried something similiar and there is a vallejo paint or something around that is close to what I am looking for.
Also: thanks for the 'ardcoat suggestions, it works great, pictures of my swarm will be up soon

Don't mix the green and white. Try adding some bleached bone (warmer) or rotting flesh (colder). (Appologize in advance for bad pics.)
Catachan Green seems to contain a significant amount of blue pigment, where as Camo Green contains more yellow pigment.
Cryx Battlegroup: Catachan Green -> Camo Green -> Rotting Flesh
Terminators: Camo Green -> Devlan Mud -> Camo Green.

That my friend, looks suspiciously like the gw foundation paint "Knarloc green". (in OPs GIS pic..)
Maybe with a spot of bleached bone in, but I think straight Knarloc green might suffice =)

Add some codex grey to dark angels green. Add a little bit at a time, because it will lighten up fast.

Actually those terminators seem to be pretty damn close to what i'm looking for, a little bright but I think with minwax then my prismatic final coat it'll darken up properly.
the devian mud is just the shading about the fingers, it didn't darken up the paint at all right?
I'll pick up some camo green if i can on the way home from work and try it out!

Grundz: The Terminators are camo green on WHITE undercoat. The devlan mud DOES darken the green. The uniform green is a second coat of camo green over the washed figure.
If you zoom in on the right-most Terminator's thighs - That is what the devlan mud looks like over the initial camo green.

Reaper MS Olive Green or P3 Thrall Flesh might be close to what you are looking for.
