Another game with something that didn't really matter much.
So when a vehicle becomes wrecked/exploded, its difficult terrain, but not dangerous and when a vehicle becomes wrecked/destroyed, its difficult AND dangerous. I thought this was odd. But I was under some weird impression that infantry was immune to dangerous terrain, but i can't seem to find that, am I wrong?
If you look at the rules for dangerous terrain in the rule book it tell you how it works. "Roll a D6 for every model that moves through dangerous terrain and for every 1 rolled a model receives a wound with no armor or cover save allowed"
So yea your wrong lol

There are actually 2 types of dangerous terrain test.
First off is the vehicle variant, where you have to take a 'Dangerous terrain test' as soon as you move through any terrain, difficult or dangerous, and if you fail it your vehicle becomes immobilized.
The Second variant goes for infantry; any models moving through dangerous terrain takes a dangerous terrain test. This means that you have to individualize the dice you roll for models with different wargear. Any model that rolls a 1 on its dangerous terrain test takes a wound with no armour saves allowed. Invulnerable Saves however can be taken.
And this makes me a sad panda, cause no one has ever called it on me, when I've moved squads on a wrecked vehicle to gain a 4+ cover save, never realizing it was dangerous.
Luckly in this game, my opponent pointed it out, and it was just wacky that its been 1.5 years into 5th, and I missed it all this time. Go figure :p
