Greetings people!

i have decided i want to put the oil/fuel drums from the Baneblade kit on the back of a couple of Executioners i've been working on. i'd like feedback on which position looks better. please notice that the "smoke stacks" or exhaust pipes are located in different positions on the 2 different versions. and this is just a rough mock up at this point. i still have clean up to do on both of them.
thanks for any input in advance.

It's not the drums.

Ba-doom-tish.

Methinks I don't like fuel drums being that close to hot exhausts. Although given what the IoM thinks of OH&S ...

thank you, thank you!!
he'll be here all week folks!
make sure you tip your wait Staff....

so what you're saying is you're leaning more towards 1? that version has the exhaust further away and higher than the fuel drums.

i say B it looks more organized, and about the hot exhausts being too close, exhausts have heat dampeners, and im sure in 40,000 years of technology they improved that technology. YEAH!

I'd suggest the smaller bits from the Russ crew sprue and some battle damage instead, if you want to spice up the tank.

I like where the exhausts are on the first on, but I like the stacked fuel tanks also. Either one would probably look good, but if I were forced to choose on I would say the second one

I prefer the look of version 2, both for the tank positioning and the fact that the pipes look better upright. They're like the stacks on a semi-truck. They just don't look natural flopped onto their sides like that.

I prefer a combination of both.
Exhaust stacks up high, drums stacked horizontally.

I did a similar thing to spice up the back of my leman russ except i used pieces from the Manufactorum kit.

I used 2 boiler sort of things with 4 exhaust points (2 on each).

i dont have a camera on me right now but i can get a pic up to help explain what i mean tomorrow night.

Mostly, on my phone.

I quite like the double barrels - I think it does look back heavy, but the turret'll balance it out.

I like version 2 better myself, and mostly it's because the skulls on the barrels are facing the correct way. I think it looks kinda funky with the skulls rotated on the first one. I also like the smokestacks verticle as they are shown in the second option.
