i was in army builder tonight and noticed you could put 2 stormbolters on a single wolf guard model.
so i looked at the codex and it uses replace bolter and/or CCW. in the wargear options.
so for 18pts plus 3+3=24pts (stormbolters) you got assault 4 shots 24"
is this right ? do they become linked ?
squad of 5 would be 20 shots at 24" on the move all the time.
or am i crazy ? and army builder is confused.
THX in advance !

You can take two storm bolters but you can never use the second one.

You are still limited to firing one weapon at a time unless stated otherwize ltke the Cyclone.
I am going to Build one with 2 anyways for my MotW in terminator armor since he wont use his power weapon.

The catch is that unless he's a monstrous creature (or one weapon is the cyclone), he can never fire more than one of them at a time, so it's a wasted weapon.

Space Wolves used to dual wield storm bolters but it made the Dark Angels so jealous that they cried to the Emporah. So the Emporah declared the Space Wolves could only shoot one at a time, and in fairness then declared that the Dark Angels would have to wear dresses until they manned up enough to dual wield too.

The idea is that it takes extra effort and time to write properly, and they’d rather save the time. If you can still be understood, what’s the harm? While most of the time a sloppy post CAN be understood, the use of proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling is generally seen as respectable and desirable on most forums. It demonstrates an effort made to be understood, and to make your post an easy and pleasant read. By making this effort, you can often elicit more positive responses from the community, and instantly mark yourself as someone worth talking to.
