Yes, it's me again. Asking even the simplest questions about the CSM Codex.

For the Chaos Lord, it lists under Special Rules that he has a 5+ Invulnerable. But it also mentions that he CAN take Terminator armour.

So my question is simply, does the Chaos Lord in Power Armour also receive the 5+ Invulnerable?

Why, I believe he does.

Yup basic Chaos lord has a 3+ armour save and a 5+ Invulnerable.
You can better his invulnerable save with a mark of tzeentch to 4+
and his better his armour save to 2+ with terminator armour.

Yup. It's presumably the Chaos version of the Iron Halo that Space Marine Captains get as standard these days.

The current batch of codexes reflect GW spotting that there were certain items that players always take, and simply making those items part of the standard build rather than options.

The Iron Halo on his Captains and Chapter Masters is a 4+ invulnerable, so I don't see what he has to complain about.

Yeah because drop pods that land units on top of your force for the same price as a standard rhino which has to work to get that close isn't over powered. Tell him to quit whining ;p

Oh and in case you don't already know. Remember that your basic marines have 1 extra attack more than his as well as 1 better Ld. If that doesn't make his blood boil... use lash of submission on him ;p

Well I think this really will irritate him a little .

He switched to Black Templars in order to stop this sort of thing...

If you really want to irritate him throw in some 1k sons that will insta kill power armoured guys with no inv. save. They also have an auto 4+ inv. save to add more salt on the wound.
