How do they measure size-wise to GW Cadians. Are the heads the same proportion-wise or do they look small on the model?

Pig Iron Heads look great with Cadians:

I got a bunch for some Rogue Trader conversions involving SM scouts. They look lovely and the militia heads look great with Cadians.

If I ever get around to starting a Guard army, and face it, I probably will since I've started pretty much every other army, I'll have to get these for the heads. They remind me of the awesome Kasrkin figs.

Those heads are sweet! I know what I want for Christmas now!

I'm a fan of the way the Pig Iron minis look, but other than the heads, they'd be difficult to use for a good IG army. Seperate heads are nice and all. I'd rather easily be able to swap in special/heavy weapons without alot of conversion, or at least be able to buy minis with special/heavy weapons.

Hmmm, I might use these new figs for my counts-as-Tau human army. I only need about 30 for Fire Warriors and Pathfinders, which isn't TOO expensive (especially compared to buying Pig Iron heads + Fire Warriors + Hasslefree weapons), and requires less work to boot.

I love everything Pig Iron does - nice and chunky models. Shame the prices are equivalent to GW's though. I'll hopefully pick some up eventually for the squad skirmish rules I'm working on.

Pig Iron makes some greeat product. Sadly, I can only afford the heads...but those puppies are making my LATD a reality...at least..a planned reality.

Pig Iron make heavy weapon figures.

Their prices are about the same as GW plastics.

Pig Iron heads are generally great, but I'm not a fan of the flat tops on these helmets. The other heavy infantry heads are better IMO.

And it is no end of amusing that another company's heads look more in-scale on a GW body than the GW heads. The Cadians have some great detail, but they're a perfect example of overexaggerated head/hands and general scale creep. I hope 40K eventually gets a scale revision like WHFB has recently seen.
