Here is my newest addition the Mk6 Sternguard Marine, well he has alot of mk6 pieces anyhow.
I went with that theme and used one of my Heresy era backpacks.
I still need to hit a few fine touches and paint on the battle damage.
I tried a new style of white on this helm I like it better than the blueline I think

Nice one! Like the yellow color. And the white helmet looks just fine like this against the
yellow power armor.

If you have more to show do it

Nice colour choice but the area around the studs could use a bit of tidying up.

On that model I really don't like the footwear, looks weird.

I've got to ask, esinhorn - what's that in the middle of the Beakie's forehead? I keep thinking someone has sniped him, and he hasn't quite fallen over yet

The imperial fist logo looks kinda like a paw because the fingers are rounded. I recommend getting a micron pen or fine detail brush and making it a bit sharper, it'd look really great then. Other than that, looks good.
Obligatory "what colors did you use for the yellow"?

The yellow looks good. It's certainly a difficult color to work with.

I'd probably laserjet print my own decals for the imperial fists logo. I can't freehand to save my life.

It is a skull in the middle that was a tiny bit miscast.
But you just gave me a great idea what to do with it.
I think he needs a tiny tiny bit more battle paint

Good suggestion with the micro-pen,I may try that.I see the problem finger a touch too high.
That would make a great Wolf company marking though if I added claws to it.
Got to remember that one for when I do Bulveye.

And the yellow is the W.Davies method (Vomit brown base, bleached bone highlights covered with old school GW yellow ink with matt medium.

Love the studs, love beakies, love your highlights and freehand. Weathering on the scout's armour is pretty nifty, too.
