I catch myself doing it all the time. Or someone points it out to me.
And half the time it's not even decent songs...as I walked to the bus stop for work I found myself singing and whistling "Hi ho, hi ho!" from Snow White. *facepalm*
Please tell me I'm not the only person who does this.

I often sing, hum or whistle in public. My wife hates it since in Japan they think only loonies do that.
I don't think it's that bad, however I do have a slight problem that I like making up obscene lyrics for songs. I have to watch that I don't start singing them out loud.
I wistle a lot. Though I'm not sure if I'm good at it. I'm more of a Sing-Along kinda guy. I sing along to songs on my MP3 player, CDs or movies. I watch Nightmare before Christmas every year and though I just want to enjoy it sometimes, I always start singing with it.
If I get bored I will usually start to whistle/hum cheezy rock ballads. It amuses me greatly.
Apparently I enjoy doing this song... but I swear I was trying to sing something else!!!
I hear it now though... . It really is a fantastic beat though... OWWW!!! OOOOHH!!!
(After much deliberation and intense study, I have decided that neither Carl Carlton topless, nor some random dude in a beanie running around, worked as well as a simple picture... so yeah... edited again for that stuff... Just look it up on Youtube, don't ask me...)

Every time that I've caught myself singing lately, it's been in the car, and even then it usually brings on a coughing fit. That's what I get for listening to death metal!
I do a lot. It's usually really random, stuff I haven't thought of for years but just kind of filters out. One of my friends who is a very talented vocalist always sings really loudly and it gets quite annoying.
Before we were dating, my wife caught me singing "I Touch Myself" to myself.

I do it too often, the sad thing is half the time people join in if its a good song and the other half they give me weird looks cause they dont know the song or hate it.
Sometimes, when I'm at Wal-mart and it's crowded, I quietly chant "Blood for the blood god" to myself. It seems to keep the masses at bay. I also have been told that I can look like one of these quiet crazy types if I'm not actively trying to not look crazy, which is most of the time. Perhaps I should start singing to myself, I might be able to get away with a lot more gak than I do now!!!

I keep singing SOAD's 'Violent Pornography' when walking down the main corridor in school. I must stop, I get weird looks. And they're from my friends.

I do this all the time, particularly at work,I'll become way too focused on a certian task, glance up from where I'm working, notice several co -workers staring at me,and realize I've been singing some random gak...loudly.
I am both selfish and chaotic. I value self-gratification and control; I want to have things my way, preferably now. At best, I'm entertaining and surprising; at worst, I'm hedonistic and violent.

So at least I am not the only one who does this. While I don't sing in public (unless intoxicated) I do however sing around the house and make up lyrics that range from mildly suggestive to downright obscene to almost any song, including songs I have never heard before or the Missus' favourite love song.

This time of year I'm known to manage a pretty solid Bing Crosby or Andy Williams. Sometimes in line at the store.

i always find myself singing "This is Halloween" when I have a test.
I constantly sing in public. My favorite thing to do lately is annoy the hell out of my coworkers by singing Christmas carols in my best Bing Crosby voice.
