All i really wanna know is do PowerFists drop initiative all the time, or only in assault? I was wanting to use JotWW on some termies, and so i did. The guy at my LGS says that he needs a 4 or lower, i said a 1 only. He told me that the initiative drop ONLY takes place is CC. Thoughts? (i conceded, cause i just really wanted to play. And cause he was getting tabled next turn anyway, haha)

The users initiative is entirely unaffected, he merely swings at I1 in CC.

difficult and cumbersome to use, so attacks with a
power fist are always delivered at Initiative 1 (ignore
Initiative bonuses from special rules, wargear, etc.).

Only for determining assault order.

KK, i read that passage in the rule book too, but i just wanted a second opinion. All ended well, no one got gibbed, and now i know just a tad more. win/win.
