Thanks to reading something from Dash of Pepper, Ive got a question about boarding planks. Ive never used one, and think it could be a valid tactic. But my question is, when usign a boarding plank on a tank, do I still have to roll a 6 to hit if the tank moved more then 6 inches?
Im assuming yes, since the boarding plank says to act as if I assaulted normally. So do I have to roll a 6 for hits?

It is done exactly as if the model was disembarked and assaulting, so yes.

that's the jist of it and if you assault a walker it can hit back, which it will do first versus a power klaw.

You can use it in tandam with a grabba claw so you slow down those sneeky bastards.

The walker will not get to attack back.

Rules are permissive and they only allow the CC attacks of a model embarked to be made against a vehicle within 2" *AS IF* it was disembarked and assaulting. It does not say resolve combat.

Main Entry: as if
Function: conjunction
Date: 13th century
1 : as it would be if <it was as if he had lost his last friend>
2 : as one would do if <he ran as if ghosts were chasing him>
3 : that <it seemed as if the day would never end>

Of course someone who is being chased AS IF by ghosts is not actually being chased by ghosts.

Someone who is making attacks AS IF disembarked and assaulting is not actually disembarking or assaulting.

Dreds get no attack backs.
