I'm considering something a bit different than my current list, and going for something a bit more horde like with my daemons. Thought I'd ask for thoughts and opinions here, particularly since I haven't started building most of it yet.
HQ :
Skarbrand
Troops :
20 Bloodletters
20 Bloodletters
20 Daemonettes
20 Daemonettes
Yep, it's that simple. In assault on a vehicle that gives me plenty of attacks on rear armor for anything not a LR or dread. While Skarbrand is a mixed blessing, I figure rerolling failed hits on the daemonettes 60-80 attack rolls will enhance their usefullness considerably, and there are only a few things out there that I won't go before, and will give me a better chance at getting the 6 needed to hit the fast moving vehicles. Mostly it just sounds fun to drop 80 troop models on the table, rushing across like mad, trying to get in and chop things to little bits. It also has the added advantage that it'll give people a break from complaigning about my flamers and fateweaver...
I'm vaguely considering dropping a few models out for a squad of bloodcrushers. I'm almost done building the first 8, but that's the cost of 20 bloodletters. And I'm not sure that they're that more survivable, or effective.

Points? Also I think that you will have a major problem with template weapons. You might want to take some anti tank stuff, just in case. Looks like fun thought.

1500 pts, it's in the post title.
As for template weapons, run when deepstriking to spread out, hope for more than a 2... But yeah, it's got issues, and anti-tank is a worry. But unless I'm running up against an all LR list, I should be able to get through the armor sooner or later. Mostly worried about the later. Unfortunately, no melta in the army. And the best anti-tank shooting is on something rather vulnerable to melta itself...

Wow. oops, my bad on the points. Also fast moving vehicles will also be a problem. It seems all your attacks are CC, if you can't catch em, you can't hit em.

I like the concept. I do. In fact, I think it can work.
However, you need to excecute it differently.
The problem I see if your unit number. you have 5 units.
Lets ust say that on turn 1, you drop i 2 units of 20 daemonettes, and skarbrand.
This is just 3 units, and I feel it can be easily avoided.
I would say you need uother units in order to crate enough numbers to drop your horde army in your oponents face turn 1. You ca make the points by simply dropping 5 models per squad.

I've found the bloodcrushers to be worth it over the bloodletters and here's why... they're T5, so harder to wound. They have 2W and are eternal warriors, so the points are close to the same as having 2 bloodletters/crusher anyway. The 3+ save is going to help you out a lot over the 5+. Plus, if you give one the instrument, one an icon, one FOK, you can potentially not lose a model until your 5th wound, if you allocate them out right. The crushers are worth it!!

Yes, they are worth it there's no question about that, but dancingcricket said he wanted something a bit different from his usual list which I'm guessing already has bloodcrushers in it.
It looks really fun but you're going to struggle against mechanised stuff. I'm not really sure how to fix that. You could lose skarbrand and try and get 3 Tzeentch heralds, that kinda adds to the number of bodies you've got; increasing the horde aspect of it.

Actually, I don't use bloodcrushers currently. I'm almost done with my first 8 of them, and am vaguely considering using them. Right now I fill my elite with flamers, and use screamers for my antitank.
The list I proposed would only be about 20 more models than I currently field, just it wouldn't have any tzeentch, which makes up the majority of what I currently bring.
