Nurgle Predator Driver with an Infestation

As the Global conflict on Nordsfeld escalated, imperial forces were forced to pour in thousands upon thousands of soldiers into the meat grinder that had erupted across the planet. With the highly contagious Puppet Virus engulfed the planet, the forces of Chaos had more than enough man power to stave off imperial attacks. Ag workers and serfs, once loyal to the God Emperor, now saw him as an aggressor and fought with vigor against his armies. The vast Ag fields that once kept the entire Marcies sub-sector fed, were now turned corrupt with the touch of Chaos. These fields were now riddled with vast trench systems and sprawling no-mans lands where both sides fought to the death, and for some beyond that. As a stalemate ensued, the forces of Chaos realized that attrition was a game that only the Imperials could win. Calling upon various debts, The Thrax Knights of Nurgle were able to summon a host allies. With these fresh forces, Chaos was able to start an even more decisive and bloody series of offensives against imperial strong points. Imperial might faltered only slightly in the face of such horrors.

"FIRST RANK FIRE!" twenty cadian shocktroops followed this order with precision; A volley of lasfire erupted from the trenchline, sything through the advancing cultists like wheat, "SECOND RANK FIRE", the other half of the combined squad fired with the same lethal effect. The cultists, weak in both armor and spirit, fled back towards their trench lines. Leutenant Krask, lowered his magnoculars and grinned, revealing a mangled smile. 'So', he thought,' these traitors think they can run. Well let's see if they can hif from the flame teams.' He, his command squad, and the rest of his platoon were currently manning a stretch of trech lines dug into what was once a vast Ag farm. The oncce lush and fertile plains were now scarred with the ravages of war and corrupted by the touch of chaos. The dead and dying lay bleeding in the no-mans land between trenches; traitors and Guardsmen in almost equal numbers

"Squads Hector and Mirkihev, burn the heretics out, all other squads, commence covering fire." Even before Krask's vox adjundant finished repeating the order over the tac-net, twelve men hauled themselves over the trench and sprinted tiwards the enemy line, showing no obvious strain from hefting the heavy promethium tanks on their backs. Krask's trench opened fire with over 40 lasguns and a mix of support weopons. The barrage kept the cultists' heads dopwn as the two flame teams covered the gap. Both squads closed the distance of 20 meters in just as many seconds. Miraculously, both squads reached the enemy line unscathed, ther commerades' fusilade pinning down most cultists, and gunning down sfew in the process. The flamer squads reached the edge of the trench and doused its inhabitants in streams of violent flame. Cultists wailed as their foul flesh melted and dripped off their bones. Some even retained enough of their muscle tissue to climb out of the trench, flaikin their army wildly. A cheer rose from Krask's trench; every Guardsman bellowing a victory cry. But this cry was cut short; so were Cpl Hector, Cpl Mirkihev, and the ten Guardsmen under their command. A Battle cannon shell exploded among the flame troopers, tearing the mean to ribbons. More than one of the promehtium tanks exploded. Cpl Hector and two of his flame troopers emerged from the smoke, limping toward imperial lines. The clattering bark of Heavy bolters was heard from behind the smoke. A heartbeat later all three survivorserupted in a fleshy red mist as the mass-reactive rounds found thier mark. 'Frak,' thought Leutenant Kras. Two traitor Leman Russ Battle tanks roller over the cultists' trench, and over the dead flamer squads, 'Double frak' Krask thought, careful to hide his fear from the rest of his platoon.
"Incoming! Hit the deck, now!" He yelled to his charges. His men took cover acordingly, burying their faces in the rank mud. Krask gritted his teeth as the enemy tanks fired. One of the shells landed amonsgt the 40 man combined squad, blasting apart only a handful of men. Another shell landed just ahead of Krask's section of the trench, spraying dirt and bodt fragments over Krask's command squad.
"Jerrico, blast them now!" The enemy armor was less than ten meters away from the trench, lumbering ever closer to the Imperial line. To Krask's immediate left, seven troopers down the line, Sgt Jerrico readied his Lascannon upon the trench wall. Several missile and grenad launchers fired from across the line, detonating harmlessly against the frontal armor of the war machines. Finally, Jerrico fired his heavy weopon, blasting apart the treads of the lead tank. It continued it relentless advance untill the tank tracks weredismounted from the cwheels
