I just watched the extended cut of the Caprica pilot on Hulu, and it was sort of interesting, if dense with distractions.

Spoiler:
I just can't get over that the first Cylon was a snotty teenage girl/computer geek/cultist. It's so contrived.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

I thought the pilot was decent but yeah I agree about your spoiler part. I'll watch the show either way since I was a big fan of BSG, even though this will be completely different.

Damn you Americans and your watching of cool American TV shows before we do (and what do we get instead? Poxy Dr Who, that's what).

I'm kind of bugged by the appearance of another human cylon. Is this another skinjob model? Because I thought we had accounted for all of those...

Only explain if it doesn't ruin the plot too much

Meh. Not me. The clips I saw of the pilot smelled of cheese and ass.

-"Wait a minute.....who is that Frazz is talking to in the gallery? Hmmm something is going on here.....Oh.... it seems there is some dispute over video taping of some sort......Frazz is really upset now..........wait a minute......whats he go there.......is it? Can it be?....Frazz has just unleashed his hidden weiner dog from his mini bag, while quoting shakespeares "Let slip the dogs the war!!" GG

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

I have 0% interest in Caprica because it all leads to the great big feth up ending at the conclusion of BSG.

Your destiny, is to turn into cavemen, lose all cultural records of who you are and be so screwed over only one of you makes the long term genepool. And guess what, you had won through ended the war and its all your own doing! Great destiny, might as well walk into the nuclear fireballs and get it over and done with.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.

I didn't mind the ending perse, sci-fi shows which go on for a while will always have trouble finding an ending that pleases everybody (will be amused to see what Lost comes up with ) and they have to end somewhere.

At least BSG managed to squeeze in one last against all the odds battle which for me was what the show was all about

I'm fine with BSG's ending. The battle part was great, the 2nd half was a little drawn out but I was ok with it.

As far as Lost goes.. I like the show, but at this point I just hope they just all die. Except for Hurley.
