19 very old daemonettes. I still had a champion left from the other squad so it got promoted to this unit

Been busy with the Hornets:




I do plan on re-doing my Wave Serpents/Falcons with the same yellow highlights. Currently they are a bit drab with the all over blue coat.

Nearly finished the first Hornet, will post a pic when there's light again...

You can also see some of the weapon options I've magnetised. I actually ran out of magnets halfway..
So only 2 pulsars, 1 scatter, 1 missile launcher, 1 shuricannon per Hornet at the moment.

Working on all the weapon options now. 6 pulse lasers, 3 shuricannons, 3 scatter lasers, 3 missile launchers. All magnetised.

Finished the Hornets, wanted to start on Brass Scorpion, but ran into some problems..

Some of the pieces wouldn't lose their gloss/stickiness even after repeated washing and are somehow 'soft' to the touch. Google-fu suggests this might be due to bad mixing/casting.

So I sent off an e-mail to FW about it.. now to wait..

Also received word from FW they'll cast up replacements parts and ship them to me.

Received replacement parts from FW.. they sent me an entire new Brass Scorpion..

Sadly, one of the big claws is miscast (some parts are paper thin or even HOLLOW). They really don't take a look at the cast quality even when doing a 'manual cast' do they?

Anyway, I'm going to mail them again.. but in the meantime I'll see if I can get started on it at least. The other parts look good, but let's see if they clean up well.

I primed one of the good claws and one of the bed, will see how it holds paint before I get FW to replace it.

Just need to do the rest of the basing and fix some mistakes.

Next up: Inquisition Land Raider, have had it around for a while ever since I painted those henchmen.

Back from vacation, now working on some more Slaanesh:


After this I have 23 Slaanesh Riders to do (20+command), some Fiends and a random Daemon Prince or so.

Then it's checking through my bit boxes to see if I have anything left to convert.

Work goes slow, had to try out some colours before I decided on a scheme. Still not 100% convinced it works, but at least I get it out of the way before I start on 23 Seekers.

Old Realm of Chaos metal daemon prince. Will be another Slaanesh prince.

Nice stuff! The Brass Scorpion looks especially sharp. I love the vivid palette.

I took the scorpion to a tournament this weekend and it ate a lot of stuff. Sadly the rest of my army wasn't so lucky...
