Last Night I had a very weird idea. I'm going to paint one of my Possessed CSM so that it looks like it's from a black & white movie. Does anyone have any suggestions? I might be able to post a picture of how it looks now later, if I can find the camera.

Here are some good examples:

Flat Black followed by White and/or Silver Wahes or Rubs.
I have some old RP wax rubs called Dragon Scales, i just Dry-Dry Brush them on to help me see the details and alot of time they just look silent movie-ish.

The inquisitor is probably the closest to what I have in mind. It looks awesome.

Anpu42, what exactly are rubs? I am intrigued by these Dragon Scales.

If any of you do an army like this, might I suggest making each figure or unit have one tiny colored theme unifying the army, like a small red detail or trim.

It is an old Ral Partha item.
I think they are simalar to Kids Finger Paints, the ones that you wet your brush and then put it in the paint.
The instructions say to use Mineral Spirits with these, but I use them dry almost like some of the Dry Cosmetics.
I just took an old Paint Brush cut the brissels down to a 1/8 inch.
Rub the brush in it and the "Dry Brush" it on.
It does rub off, but if you clear caot the model it last.
I have no problems painting over it.

I'm only planning on doing one Mini like this, just for the hell of it. I have him basecoated in black right now, I just need to figure out how to do the rest. Unfortunately, my FLGS doesn't have much in the way of washes.

Should I just mix up a white wash and a grey one, and do very light coats, or what?
