I have an Apoc game upcoming in January, with a points limit if only 2k(lots of players are interested, so to keep the gaming possible...lower points allowed per person.)

Theme is 'Fly the Unfriendly Skies' I don't know what this means, and they won't give it away either. Last game they ran was no aircraft allowed, and prefered infantry heavy armies.

This is what I have available to field:

HQ: (2) Farseers, (4) Warlocks, (1) Autarch, Asurman
Elite: (5) Wraithguard, (12) Fire Dragons, (12) Howling Banshees
Troops: (30) Rangers, (22) Guardian Defenders[Two platforms), (10) Dire Avengers
Fast: (5) Swooping Hawks, (5) Warp Spiders, (3) Viper Jetbikes
Heavy: (2) Wraithlords, (2) Warwalkers[what I'd give for one more to field the Shadow unit], (2) Fire Prisms, (3) Falcon Gravtanks
Transport: (2) Waveserpents
Apoc: (2) Nightwing Interceptors, (1) Scorpion Heavy Grav Tank

Just please try to keep in mind that I'd REALLY love to field my Scorpion, and I'm thinking that with so few points per team...not many will think to bring AA. So perhaps a Nightwing as well(yes, yes...I know...this is almost half the list..if you think it's a terrible idea...feel free to yell at me).

drop the defenders get some jetbikes.take out the wraithlords, add another warwalker and fire prism. then maybee if you have pnts upgrade rangers to pathfinders

The information posted is all the items I own, not the 2k 'list'. I posted them to give an idea on what I should field out of that listing of my items. :-)

The warwalker formation is completely disgusting.

Basically, you show up anywhere and fire your weapons twice. To me, firing 16 Scatterlaser shots off one Walker, just isn't fair.

This is one of the few times, I think, that the Walkers can get their use with Brightlance setups, popping up behind enemy lines to fire into rear-armor of a non-shielded Titan can be fun. :-)
