Turn one:
A. No weapons have range beyond 48 inches, on my side, so no fire takes place. all squads run during shooting phase.
B. captain goes to hide, Missile-armed squads cannot see anything, so position higher up for vantage-points.
Turn two
A.
Movement: All heavy weapon teams are forced to move in, due to lack of sight, however, during the next phase, both get a 5 and a 6 on their run, and so the squad scales the buildings in the middle of the board (we agreed that they didn't count as
DT) Everything else moves in, as per assault status,
LR moves 12 again.
Shooting phase. All squads ran.and using
POTMS LR takes it's assault cannon, and I find it's just in range. the land raider takes a few shots at the tactical marines to the north, killing only one

B.
Movement: captain moves to meet the enemy, moving 6" towards me, nothing else moves.
Fireing turn: Enemy finds storm bolters and normal bolters innefective against
LR armour, as a result, only the 2 cyclone missile launchers and 2 normal missile launchers manage to take a shot, with a total of 6 attacks at S8
AP 3 (remembering krak grenades, and that a
CML has heavy 2.)
four managed to hit my land raider none managed to roll a six, and so none penetrated my armoured hull.

Assault: no members of any squad are within reach.
Turn three.
A.
Movement, trudging along behind, the land raiders wake, my chapter master jumped along with his
JP, and this was good, and he was 6" away from the captain Assault terminators disembark from the
LR, and attempt to scale up the building (because of assault vehichle, they may assault this turn!)
Fireing: both my plasma cannon and my H. bolter are in range! (plasma against a ruin and H. bolter a captain.). my
LR takes one fell sweep with all of it's weapons, from a good 18" away, all weapons fire, as defencive weapons, save assault cannon and
MM. assault cannon claims
POTMS, scoring 2 dead terminators, I'm happy. then my plasma cannon takes it's toll with 4 models under it's disc. with one more dead terminator, I shoot from my H. bolter. giving a captain one more wound to live for. (3 terminators and two thirds of a captain with 3+/4+ is pretty good.) terminators run 1"
No assault.
B.
Movement: running his captain to my master, and not moving another squad the opponent does his pokerface.
Fireing: all missile launcher try their foolish attempts to destroy the land raider. this time, 2 hit, and one glances. scoring a 3 (-2 from 5), I remove the multi-melta.
firing his plasma pistol like it's the last thing for him, my opponent takes no wound off of my master, due to his sheild his 3+ invulnerable save keeps the plasma from searing skin.
Assault: Captain assaults commander, scoring one of 3 hits, and one wound, I'm astonished. with initiative one, my master raises his hammer, and at s8 power weapon, smites his foe under a single unsaved wound.
(with 7 terminators, and 20 marines, this boy was not happy)
Turn four.
A.
Movement: jumping up to the top of the building, my master strikes, he is now right next to a tactical squad, with little to protect them. the assault terminators met a steel resolve from normal terminators. the H. bolter squad moved down, and surged forward.
LR moved in 6" (12" away!)
Fireing: all weapons opened fire from my
LR, firing out 2 hurricane bolters a storm bolter and a
POTMS assault cannon, it managed to pummel 8 hits into a tactical squad, removing 3 of them from play. next, the plasma cannon took it's toll, against 5 tactical marines, landing off target for the first time, it managed to hit 1 of them and my chapter master, but the master was safe. the marine wasn't so safe, and was removed.
Assault: all terminators clashed, and with 3
LC armed terminators struck 2 terrible blows, felling them. then his power fists and my thunder hammers clashed at the same time, and managing to take out one of my terminators, one of his died. I won the assault, but their leadership stood firm. my master struck his blows, killing 3 of the marines, and though under half strength, the squad had nowhere to run, and was trapped, inturn it was destroyed.
B.
Movement, nothing moved.
Fireing: the squad on the other ruin took a daring mission and fired a frag missile at my 2nd tactical squad (w/ H. bolter) managing to kill off 3 of them. :(
assault: with barely 4 good terminators, he struck me, and though my
LC's took a massive toll of two on him, he set to do more, felling 2 of my
LC wielding men. the remaining 2 were halved by a thunder hammer, and luckily he was able to escape 3" away.
(with 1 terminator, and 10 marines, he was fuming. I was pretty ticked because I had 3 terminators, and 17 marines at the command of my master.)
Turn Five.
A.
Movement: terminators moved in, and master jumped to meet a new foe on the other side of the field, covering half of it. Plasma cannon squad was forced to move in, along with the other, and
LR moved 12" towards the last tactical squad.
Fireing: tactical squads ran, along with master.
LRC took it's assault cannon and downed 1 of the marines, barely hidden behind it's armour.
Assault: terminators took their run, and in his death was a rejoice, and now but 9 marines remained.
B.
Movement: NA
Fireing with my master within 7", every squad member opened fire. a Krak, 14 bolters, a plasma pistol and a flamer were brought to bear upon his skin, though none could penetrate his armour to the fullest, the bolters, through sheer weight of numbers made one wound, lest the flamer and krak failed.
Assault: NA
Turn Six.
A.
Movement: all squads moved towards the group, and master jumped into 1" range.
Firing:
LR fired one hurricane bolter and assault cannon, bringing 3 down.
Assault: Master took 6 blows, and one managed to chip his paint, with no wound taken, the master took his sweep, killing three under his digital weapons at s8, he made little work of their attack, and did away with three. the squad was trapped and therefore destroyed.
he lost a battle he could have one, but he failed to focus his firepower correctly, he managed to desdtroy one vehichle's weapon, and a few infantry.
towards the end of the fight, he realised he needed to focus on my terminators and master.
because of my assault-oriented branch, he fell quickly under the sheer weight of 5 combat ready terminators and a chapter master.
if he had attacked the tactical infantry, he would have been able to deter my assault, because it would have less backingforce.
