So my friend asked me to put this up cause it came up twice in 2 diff games n were not sure..
So, Necrons only get WBB if there is at least one model left alive, however if there is not they can still come back if there is a res orb within 6".. so we were playin annilation, and I wiped out a squad of immortals, there was a res orb within 6" in another squad of immortals, so 5 of the 10 dead immortals passed their WBB and according to the rules had to join the squad of immortals..
Do I get the Kill Point ?
thanks
The Orb has no effect on the distance
WBB can be attempted at - it just allows
WBB to be attempted against Necrons killed by
ID or
CCWs that allow no armor save.
Any downed Necron model has to be within 6" of a Necron unit of the same type to attempt
WBB. This is only overwritten by having a Tomb Spyder within 12". It sounds like the Immortals in your example jumped further than that.
In any case, Kill Points are awarded for every unit that no longer exists at the end of the game. Even though models from the first squad of Immortals are now a part of the second squad, the fact that the first squad no longer exists means that they give up a kill point.
