Although there isn't much, the toughness values on the Wraithguard and Wraithlords make them quite hard to kill. The plan with this army is to move towards the opponent with the entire force, having the storm guardians out front as a meatshield. The Avatar and Wraithlords are killer in close combat while the Wraithguard and Wraithlords again are shooty. I would appreciate much criticism as I don't have a whole lot of experience with this particular setup for an army. I do think that it would be a lot of fun to play though.

I'm not an eldar player, but I'm guessing from the rule book that Storm guardians are the same toughness as normal guardians.
I find this to be an innate problem because the average enemy will have at least one or two guns that could ik before they got close enough to be good meatshields.
-reminder- I don't know how Storm guardians work, but in general it seems to few units to make ends meet.
I assume storm guardians are better then normal ones, maybe 1:1.5? so, why not get a few extra guardians or DA? otherwise a killer army.
I agree w/ SpringLevel, it would be bst with a farseer.

My suggestions, drop the guardians, they're not going to be very effective meatshields, drop em 8x26= 184 points, when I add up the points, I get 1464, points. 1,464-184 = 1,280 which leaves 220 points, which I would suggest to take two fortune seers, which will total 170, letting you change enhance into conceal for both squads, so they will get saves no matter what. Now what to do with that 40 points left, scatter lasers on two of your wraithlords, and a ShuriCannon on the third.
Those are my suggestions, hope that they help.

As stated above storm guardians will get squished faster then you can watch the dice fall on their wound roll. The are a CC guardian which in it's self is an oxymoron. If you want meatshields out front take Defender Guardians with a Conceal lock and EML or SL. You can use that unit to pop transports, but honestly you'll need at least 1 fortuneseer for this list. Also, take off the enhance and replace with Conceal. Wraithguard are meh at CC and enhance isn't going to change that at all, but conceal gives you a backup save vs any AP3 that hits them in the face.
The other major issue your going to have is troop mobility. If you do the above and drop the storms all together that leaves you with 2 troop choices moving at 6" with 12" guns. Either of the objective games your going to have circles run around you and while Wraithguard are tough if they get tied up in CC your going to have a stalemate all game.

Wouldn't Enhance be best for Wraithguard since their gun has a 12" range leaving them within assault range of the opponent? I think that most gamers would realize that Wraithguard are not as good in close combat as they are at a ranged attack causing most gamers to assault immediatley after the Wraithguard shooting phase. The Enhance would give the Wraithguard some edge in assault and hopefully get them out of any kind of stalemate.
I think a huge problem in the army is that there isn't much to shoot at, whatever the oppenent picks to shoot at there isn't much chance that the squad will survive, especially in a 1500pts game.
Also, thanks for the suggestions.

Its a themed army but not really competitive.
I'd drop one WG unit and field a Farseer able to Fortune the WG,
and a Harlie squad for counter strike.

Would love to see it on the board (for visuals) and as an opponent (to work in over).
I wanted to field Eldar with a list similar to this, but I don't feel it's competitive. It's slow. The MCs can be stopped. How will you play objective missions?

Without transport capacity, a list like IG would tear this apart far too quickly. Battle Cannon templates take care of those 10-man squads of Wraithguard far too easily, and the sponson Lascannons can be brought to bear on the Wraithlords later. I think the biggest crutch of this army is that it's terribly slow and has very little(I think 3 EMLs?) to worry units at range.
A balanced list wouldn't fare poorly against this, which is what makes it not that stellar.

What about replacing a Wraithlord or two with Fire Prisms or War Walkers? And maybe losing some Guardians or Wraithguard for Banshees or Reapers? Although the army may lose its theme I think it would stand a better chance against balanced lists, right?
