just wondering if any folk out there have used this scale to add exotics to there armies?
I am looking at a couple of Tamiya models the length is right for space marines/Orks (though I guess it doesnt really matter with Orks) at about 140mm.
I know they arent strictly legit as far as SMs go but GW have allways encourged folk to be more imaginative with vechiles etc. and who says that after 10000s of years of war that they would stick to the same design.
Anyway if you have let me know what you felt and if the scale is ok etc.
Cheers

I've got a couple of German tanks, a marder III, sd kfz 222 & 3 sd kfz 251's. The guns still look puny compared to GW ones (esp. the .50 cals) but are much closer in size to 1:56th.
I recomend them Automatically Appended Next Post: try this on-line store - great service & variety -

Check dimensions given in this article for 1/48 and 1/35 scale kits.

I prefer 1/35 too. I think 1/48 look too small and the range of kits available is much less than 1/35, although they are very nice kits.
On the whole it doesn't really matter as long as you stick to the same scale for your whole army.
